2009 BAR Rules Update Here's a quick update on the new BAR rules for 2009. Teams may promote more than one BAR event per year. The rules specified that teams may promote only one BAR event per year. The rule was removed as it was not enforced. Team that promote races will receive 20 team BAR points for promoting a BAR race, and 15 team BAR points for promoting a non-BAR event. Promoters of BAR events or state championship events where registratino is only handled onine (i.e. no onsite registration) must not close online registration more than 72 hours prior to the event. The Cat 5 BAR has been removed. Points for Cat 5 riders will still count to toward the team BAR.
